The Etta James concert at House of Blues was Shannon's Father's Day present for 2003. One of our favorite blues artists could really belt it out. Two of her sons played in the band with her as drummer and bass guitarist. The lead guitarist was asian and you tell he was obviously born with the blues. We didn't know all the songs but enjoyed the show all the same. Etta sang Tell Mama and one of her new songs called A Change will Do Me Good. She waited until the end of the show to sing a bluesy version of her classic, At Last.
